What your day could look like
As a Quality Officer, you'll help strengthen how care is delivered across our health service. From supporting teams to use data meaningfully, to driving improvements that enhance safety and experience, you'll collaborate widely and contribute to outcomes that matter for our community.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Turning data and audit insights into clear, practical actions that lift the quality of care.
- Coaching and supporting staff to build confidence in improvement tools and continuous improvement practices.
- Guiding services through progress tracking, problem‑solving and sustainable change.
- Preparing purposeful reports and communications that inform decisions and strengthen clinical governance.
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who loves helping people do their best work. You communicate with clarity, bring others along with you, and turn complexity into meaningful improvement. You take pride in seeing teams grow, systems strengthen, and care become safer — all while living the values of compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Capability in interpreting and applying quality improvement methods and principles.
- Strong analytical, written and interpersonal skills to support teams and leaders.
- Confidence working with quality, safety or clinical data to guide improvements.
- A current driver's licence and ability to travel as required.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience supporting clinical governance, rural or regional health services, and/or additional training in improvement or health systems.
Most importantly, you'll be motivated by strengthening care for our communities and shaping improvements that last.
Together, your work will help deliver safer, more connected care — guided by the values we live every day.
