What your day could look like
As Nurse Manager Quality and Safety, you'll play a vital role in strengthening how care is delivered across Women's and Children's Services. By guiding quality systems, supporting clinical teams and driving improvement, you'll help ensure patients and families experience safe, reliable and compassionate care. You'll work closely with leaders and clinicians, contributing to outcomes that matter for our community.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading quality and safety initiatives that reduce risk and improve patient outcomes
- Partnering with nurse and midwifery leaders to embed strong clinical governance practices
- Guiding responses to incidents and safety concerns with clarity, expertise and care
- Championing continuous improvement, innovation and learning across clinical teams

- Registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife in Australia
- Strong experience in quality, safety, clinical governance or service improvement
- Ability to lead, influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- A values‑led approach grounded in compassion, integrity and courage
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate study in a relevant field and/or experience leading improvement in complex or hospital settings.
