About the role
The purpose of this role is to deliver high level Occupational Therapy (OT) clinical services and leadership within the hospital inpatient service. This may include but not limited to the emergency department, medical, orthopaedic and surgical services.
This role is a reference point for these clinical areas for multi-disciplinary team members and across OT services. Services may be provided in hospital, a clinic setting, or patient's homes.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High level of knowledge and skills in Occupational Therapy services within one or more areas of expertise.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment to influence a clinical or service outcome.
- Ability to independently manage clinical caseloads.
- Ability to monitor and report clinical work practices and outcomes that supports continuous local service improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
