What your day could look like
As Nursing Unit Manager – Inpatient Services, you'll play a vital role in strengthening care delivery and supporting the health and wellbeing of the Kingaroy community. From guiding clinical leadership to partnering with multidisciplinary teams, your work will help ensure patients receive high‑quality, respectful care every day.

- Leading inpatient teams to deliver safe, person‑centred care that meets quality and performance goals
- Creating a positive, engaged workplace where nurses feel supported to grow and succeed
- Balancing people, resources and budgets to keep services running sustainably and effectively
- Driving improvements in care, safety and ways of working through evidence‑based decisions

- Current registration (or eligibility) as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Strong leadership experience in acute or inpatient care, with confidence managing teams and resources
- A collaborative, people‑first approach and sound clinical judgement
- The ability to use data and systems to support quality improvement and safe care
You'll stand out from the crowd if you bring rural health experience and/or postgraduate study in nursing, leadership or health management.
