Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Shaping and leading health programs that respond to community priorities and deliver real, measurable outcomes

  • Mentoring and guiding staff to foster cultural capability, confidence and respectful practice
  • Using data and insights to improve service delivery, quality and sustainability

Let's talk about you!

You're a confident, grounded leader who brings heart and purpose to your work. You build trust through integrity, listen deeply, and act with courage when advocating for better outcomes. You'll feel proud knowing your work strengthens culture, supports families, and helps services deliver care with compassion and dignity. You're here to create positive change, not just meet expectations.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • An approved qualification in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health, community or human services (or related field)
  • Strong experience delivering, coordinating or leading health or community programs
  • Demonstrated ability to build respectful relationships and influence across diverse settings

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in regional or community‑led settings and/or leadership or project coordination experience.

Most importantly, you'll bring the values we live by at Darling Downs Health: compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—ensuring care is culturally strong, connected and respectful.
