What your day could look like
In this role, you'll support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, families and communities to navigate health care in ways that are culturally safe, connected and meaningful, contributing to better experiences and outcomes across the region.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Supporting patients and families to access timely, appropriate care across the health system
- Working with clinical teams and community partners to coordinate culturally responsive care
- Delivering health education and promotion that empowers informed wellbeing choices
- Strengthening cultural capability and connection through mentoring and collaboration

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- A recognised qualification in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care and a current C class driver licence
- Experience working at an advanced level within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with individuals, families, communities and multidisciplinary teams
- A genuine commitment to cultural safety, collaboration and ongoing learning
You'll stand out if you've mentored others, worked across diverse health programs, or delivered care in regional or community settings.
Most importantly, you'll live the values of Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage, helping shape healthier futures for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across the region.
