What your day could look like
As an Administration Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients, families and clinical teams by ensuring the everyday administrative experience is calm, accurate and compassionate. From first contact to financial processes, your work helps people feel supported and services run smoothly across the health service.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Creating a positive first impression through professional reception and communication support
- Ensuring patient billing and financial processes are accurate, timely and compliant
- Keeping patient information and systems well maintained to support safe, coordinated care
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to solve problems and improve how services connect
Let's talk about you!
You bring both capability and care to everything you do. You take pride in being reliable, professional and kind, especially when people may be unwell or under pressure. What motivates you is knowing that your attention to detail and respectful approach help patients, families and teams feel supported and confident. You're not just keeping things organised, you're contributing to a service built on compassion, integrity and dignity.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Experience in administration, customer service or finance, ideally in a busy environment
- Confidence using computer systems, handling data accurately and following procedures
- Strong communication skills, discretion and a genuine commitment to quality service
You'll stand out if you have experience in healthcare, patient billing or rural settings, and if you enjoy adapting to varied responsibilities with courage and initiative.
Most importantly, you'll share our commitment to compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—values that guide how we care for our community.
