About the role
The First Nations Director & Project Support Officer is an integral part of the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health team. It provides an administrative and project support function to the Director Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines and commitments with minimal supervision.
- High level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, incorporating the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of health service providers and the general public, utilising discretion and confidentiality in the management of information.
- Ability to work autonomously and act as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team to provide an effective customer focused service.
- Problem solving skills, and the ability to perform duties on a day-to-day basis in the absence of decision makers. The ability to establish work priorities and meet deadlines when work priorities conflict.
Mandatory Requirements:
- This position may be required to work across the various facilities throughout West Moreton Health.
