What your day could look like

As an Operational Services Officer - Housekeeping, you'll play an important role in supporting patient care by maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment. From ensuring high hygiene standards to assisting with essential non-clinical support, you'll work as part of a collaborative team delivering care that truly matters.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Delivering high-quality cleaning, hygiene and support services that help protect patient safety and wellbeing
  • Supporting patient movement, basic care tasks and equipment transport alongside clinical teams
  • Maintaining equipment, facilities and outdoor areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
  • Identifying and responding to risks or hazards to keep staff, patients and visitors safe

  • Experience working in cleaning, operational services or a healthcare environment
  • Ability to manage physical tasks safely, including manual handling

  • Understanding of safety, hygiene and infection control practices

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in a hospital or aged care setting and/or exposure to shift work and on-call environments.
