What your day could look like
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Continence Advisor), you'll play a pivotal role in improving quality of life for people in the community. From leading complex assessments to influencing service-wide improvements, you'll work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care that truly matters.

- Delivering expert continence assessments and care plans that enhance patient independence and wellbeing
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, families, and community providers to achieve seamless, coordinated care
- Leading quality improvements that strengthen safety, outcomes, and service effectiveness
- Sharing your expertise through mentorship and guidance, building capability across the team

You bring deep clinical expertise and a genuine desire to make a lasting difference. You're confident working autonomously, yet thrive on collaboration and shared success. With compassion and integrity guiding your practice, you take pride in helping people maintain dignity and independence while contributing to better health outcomes across the community.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with a valid practising certificate
- Advanced experience in continence or related clinical care, including complex assessment and care planning
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and contribute to service or quality improvements
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate study in a relevant field and/or experience working in community or aged care settings.
