About the role
This position will be an integral part of the High Security Inpatient Service (HSIS) clinical team driving specialised care within a high secure forensic mental health setting. The CNC Complex Care will work closely with Unit Clinical Nurse Managers (CNM), Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and Occupational Violence Prevention Coordinator.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated advanced capability in stakeholder consultation and engagement, employing highly developed oral communications and highly effective interpersonal skills of consultation, negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship management that influence effectively and achieve desired outcomes.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing a high level of expertise to deliver safe, least restrictive, recovery orientated and person-centred care to consumers within a forensic mental health inpatient setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary treating team to deliver evidence-based treatment interventions.
- Demonstrated ability to be accountable for outcomes and the achievement of performance targets relevant to the position.
- Exemplifies the West Moreton Health Professional Practice Model by demonstrating person-centred care, professional excellence, safe and effective care delivery, commitment to quality and safety, and collaborative practice.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
