Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Coordinating referral intake and maintaining accurate waitlists to support timely patient care
  • Communicating with patients, clinicians and service providers to resolve enquiries and ensure continuity of care
  • Managing high-volume data entry across multiple systems with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Supporting team operations by contributing to audits, reporting and process improvements that enhance service delivery

Let's talk about you!

You're someone who thrives in a busy, purpose-driven environment and brings both precision and empathy to your work. You stay organised under pressure, communicate clearly, and take pride in making processes run seamlessly behind the scenes. Whether you're supporting a patient enquiry or improving the accuracy of critical data, you care about the impact your work has on people's experiences.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in a healthcare or hospital setting and familiarity with complex information systems.

Above all, you'll bring the values we live by at Darling Downs Health—compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—into every interaction and task, helping deliver care that truly makes a difference.
