What your day could look like
As a Clinical Facilitator, you'll play a vital role in strengthening care quality by supporting nurses and teams to build confidence, capability and consistency in practice. From coaching at the bedside to shaping learning experiences, you'll help create a positive environment where both staff and patients thrive.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Supporting nurses to deliver safe, evidence-informed care through hands-on guidance and coaching
- Partnering with leaders and educators to embed learning and build capability across the unit
- Leading quality and improvement activities that strengthen patient outcomes and team performance
- Creating a supportive learning culture that grows skills, confidence and professional development
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who leads with compassion and clarity, and who finds purpose in helping others grow. You bring strong clinical judgement, a collaborative mindset and the confidence to guide teams through real-world challenges. You take pride in building capability in others, knowing your work contributes to safer care and stronger teams. You don't just support practice, you help shape it.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Strong clinical experience with the ability to guide and assess others' practice
- Confidence in coaching, mentoring and supporting professional development
- Knowledge of quality standards and a commitment to safe, patient-focused care
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate qualifications or experience in clinical education and a passion for developing others in complex care settings.
Most importantly, you'll bring the values we live by: compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage, and use them to positively influence both patient care and team culture.
In this role, your impact is clear: building skilled, confident teams who deliver safer care every day.
