- Leading safe clinical practice, mentoring others and helping shape high-quality care
- Identifying opportunities to improve services and strengthen continuity of care
Let's talk about you!
You're a midwife who brings both clinical confidence and genuine compassion to your practice. You build trust quickly, communicate with care and stay calm under pressure. You take pride in advocating for women and creating safe, respectful experiences that make a lasting difference. You're motivated by purpose and driven to grow, always aiming to improve outcomes for the families you support.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration (or eligibility) as a Registered Midwife in Australia
- Strong clinical skills across pregnancy, birth and postnatal care
- Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to continuous learning and evidence-based practice
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have rural or regional experience and/or postgraduate qualifications relevant to midwifery practice. Above all, you'll bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage to everything you do.
In this role, you'll help create safe, empowering experiences for women and families while contributing to a healthcare service that truly values care and connection.
