About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to the effective development, management and delivery of professional workplace health and safety services and workplace rehabilitation and return to work services (including Workers' Compensation, Income Protection and Health Management claims management) throughout West Moreton Health (WMH).
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Sound knowledge of and demonstrated application of work health and safety legislation, standards and policies relevant to a large complex organisation.
- The capacity to assist in the implementation of health and injury management initiatives including coaching and developing capability of staff, managers and supervisors by fostering a performance based and client focused work culture.
- Demonstrated sound organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results within a client focused approach.
- Demonstrated sound interpersonal, analytical, communication and negotiation skills, evidenced by the ability to engage, consult and collaborate, work in a multidisciplinary environment and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
