What your day could look like
As an Operational Services Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients, visitors and healthcare teams by helping maintain a safe, comfortable and efficient healthcare environment. From delivering essential support services to assisting with patient movement and day-to-day operations, your work will contribute to positive experiences and quality care across the service.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Helping create a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports patient wellbeing and quality care.
- Supporting patients and clinical teams through timely transport, practical assistance and responsive service delivery.
- Maintaining high standards across catering, environmental services and operational support functions that keep the service running smoothly.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to identify priorities, solve problems and ensure essential services are delivered effectively.

- Experience delivering high-quality operational, customer or support services in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work safely, manage physical tasks and follow established procedures and standards.
- Strong teamwork, communication and time management skills with a focus on service excellence.
- A current driver's licence and willingness to work a variety of shifts as required.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in healthcare, aged care or other customer-focused service environments and/or additional training in workplace safety, infection control or patient support.
Above all, you'll bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage to every shift, helping create positive experiences for patients, colleagues and the community.
