What your day could look like
As a Registered Nurse, you'll play an important role in enhancing the wellbeing, independence and quality of life of older people in residential aged care. From delivering evidence-based care to supporting families and collaborating with colleagues, you'll be part of a team committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for residents.

- Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care that supports residents' health, comfort and dignity.
- Partnering with residents, families and multidisciplinary team members to develop and achieve meaningful care goals.
- Providing clinical guidance and support to colleagues, helping foster a safe, positive and collaborative care environment.
- Identifying opportunities to improve care quality, manage risk and strengthen resident outcomes through continuous improvement.

You're a nurse who combines clinical capability with genuine compassion. Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated clinical nursing skills and knowledge within aged care or a comparable care environment.
- Strong communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to safe, evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate study in aged care and/or experience contributing to quality improvement, mentoring or clinical leadership activities.
