What your day could look like

As a Registered Nurse, you'll play an important role in enhancing the wellbeing, independence and quality of life of older people in residential aged care. From delivering evidence-based care to supporting families and collaborating with colleagues, you'll be part of a team committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for residents.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care that supports residents' health, comfort and dignity.
  • Partnering with residents, families and multidisciplinary team members to develop and achieve meaningful care goals.
  • Providing clinical guidance and support to colleagues, helping foster a safe, positive and collaborative care environment.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve care quality, manage risk and strengthen resident outcomes through continuous improvement.

Let's talk about you!

You're a nurse who combines clinical capability with genuine compassion. You build trust through respectful communication, make confident decisions when it matters, and take pride in creating positive experiences for older people and their families. Whether you're coordinating care, mentoring others or advocating for residents, you're driven by the opportunity to make every day better for the people you support.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated clinical nursing skills and knowledge within aged care or a comparable care environment.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills.
  • A commitment to safe, evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate study in aged care and/or experience contributing to quality improvement, mentoring or clinical leadership activities.

Above all, you'll bring Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage to every interaction, helping deliver exceptional care and positive outcomes for the community.
