What your day could look like
As Principal Allied Health Project Officer, you'll help drive better rehabilitation and connected care experiences for patients across the region. From leading service redesign initiatives to working with clinicians, leaders and community partners, you'll contribute to projects that strengthen care pathways, improve outcomes and support sustainable health services.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading strategic projects that improve rehabilitation services, patient flow and access to care.
- Building strong partnerships across health, community and primary care settings to deliver shared outcomes.
- Analysing data, identifying opportunities and developing practical solutions that enhance service performance.
- Guiding innovation, change and continuous improvement initiatives that support high-quality, person-centred care.

You're a skilled allied health professional who enjoys turning ideas into meaningful outcomes. Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Relevant allied health qualification with current registration or professional membership as applicable.
- Experience leading complex projects, service improvement initiatives or models of care development.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, analyse information and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate project management qualifications and/or experience leading service redesign within acute, rehabilitation or community healthcare settings.
Together, you'll help deliver innovative, person-centred healthcare that makes a genuine difference across the Darling Downs.
