You will receive a competitive remuneration package comprising salary rate of $112,867 p.a. (L3), professional development allowance, professional development leave 1.6 weeks p.a. and professional indemnity cover. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.

What your day could look like

As a Senior House Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, you'll help deliver safe, high-quality care for women and families across the region. Working with senior clinicians and multidisciplinary teams, you'll support patient experiences and continuity of care.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Delivering evidence-based clinical care and treatment planning.
  • Working collaboratively with specialists, nursing and allied health teams.
  • Supporting safe, efficient patient care through reviews, investigations, treatment and discharge planning.
  • Contributing to quality improvement, clinical governance and ongoing learning.

You're a capable and compassionate clinician with sound judgement and strong communication skills. You work well under pressure, build positive relationships and are committed to safe, respectful, patient-centred care.

Here's what will help you thrive:

  • Medical degree and current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Ability to assess patients and support investigation and treatment decisions.
  • Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and culturally respectful care.

You'll stand out if you have Obstetrics and Gynaecology experience and/or a commitment to ongoing professional development.
