What your day will look like….
Join a high-performing, dynamic Emergency Department where no two days are the same. Our Emergency Department sees 170-190 varied clinical presentations per day. You'll provide advanced clinical care across all age groups, neonates to geriatric patients, in a state-of-the-art environment with 70 clinical spaces, including: Short Stay Unit (SSU), Acute Adult and Paediatric Cubes, Adult and Paediatric Resuscitation Areas, Triage, Fast Track/Ambulatory Care. We are proud of our well-supported, team-focused environment. Clinical Facilitators and Associate Nurse Unit Managers are rostered seven days a week to support staff on Early and Late shifts. You'll also benefit from our evidence-based Transition Support Program (TSP) - Emergency, designed to support Registered Nurses new to the Emergency Department with a structured pathway through four key modules:
1. Fundamentals of Adult Emergency Nursing Care
2. Paediatric Care in the Emergency Department
3. Care of the Older Person in Emergency
4. Management of the Critically Ill Patient in the Emergency Department.
Plus we offer multi-disciplinary learning through regular weekly simulation training, empowering you to build capability and confidence in a fast-paced, supportive clinical setting.
