What your day could look like
As a Clinical Facilitator, you'll play a vital role in strengthening practice capability and care quality for children and families across Darling Downs Health. From enhancing clinical confidence to supporting learning in real-world settings, you'll help teams deliver safe, compassionate care where it matters most.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Empowering nurses through hands-on coaching, assessment and feedback that lifts clinical practice
- Partnering with leaders and educators to embed evidence-based, family-centred care
- Shaping positive learning environments that build capability from novice to expert
- Driving quality, safety and improvement initiatives that translate into better outcomes for communities.
Let's talk about you!
You're a clinically credible nurse who thrives on helping others grow. You lead with compassion and integrity, think critically under pressure, and bring people with you through strong relationships and clear communication. What you're most proud of is seeing others succeed—knowing your guidance helps deliver safer, more dignified care for children and families.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration (or eligibility) as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Postgraduate qualification in Child Health Nursing
- Demonstrated experience supporting clinical learning, assessment and practice improvement
- Confidence working collaboratively, with curiosity, empathy and courage
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in clinical education and/or additional postgraduate study.
Most importantly, you're passionate about child and family health and motivated to make a meaningful difference through leadership, learning and connection—living the values of compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage.
This role builds capable clinicians today and healthier communities for tomorrow.
