About the role
The Senior Technology Officer, Information Technology Services under the direction of the ICT Service Delivery Manager provides experienced technical support and timely problem resolution to maintain local information systems.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Technical expertise in the management, configuration, monitoring and implementation of ICT environments in one or more technical domains.
- Proven experience in delivering high quality ICT support to clients, with emphasis on managing workloads, prioritising tasks and working unsupervised.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes, and accountabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills that build effective working relationships, support mentoring of junior staff, and enhance quality client service in a team environment.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions
- Experience or the ability to quickly learn ServiceNow and ITIL Service Management processes.
- Strong capability in supporting information systems, solving technical issues, applying sound judgement, and developing effective technical solutions.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
