About the role
Provide strategic leadership for Food Services across WMH, delivering an operational plan aligned with organisational priorities. The role requires effective planning in a dynamic environment and autonomous oversight of operational and financial performance, as well as workforce recruitment, training, and development.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Expert knowledge of the legislation, directives, standards, policies and guidelines relevant to foodservices within Queensland Health and experience in various models of foodservice production and delivery.
- Proven ability to lead a large multi‑disciplinary team and deliver efficient services while upholding key HR, safety, and ethical standards.
- Extensive interpersonal, negotiation and written communication skills, along with advanced change‑management capability for working with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed information technology skills and demonstrated ability to interpret and analyse data in relation to service planning and delivery.
