What your day could look like
As a Supply Officer, you'll play an important role in keeping our health service running smoothly. From making sure critical supplies are in the right place at the right time, to working closely with teams across the facility, your contribution will directly support patient care and the people who deliver it.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Coordinating the efficient movement of goods to ensure clinical teams have the resources they need.
- Working with colleagues and customers to solve small problems before they become bigger ones.
- Supporting accurate stock management that keeps our operations safe, timely, and reliable.
- Maintaining organised supply areas that help teams work confidently and with ease.
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who brings care and capability to every task. You stay calm in busy environments, communicate with clarity, and take pride in being the person others can rely on. You enjoy physical, hands‑on work, and you value being part of a team where integrity, courage, compassion, dignity, and innovation guide the way. Most of all, you're proud to contribute to work that strengthens your community.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- A current driver's licence.
- Ability to learn supply, warehousing or inventory systems.
- Confidence working in a team and adapting as needs change.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have previous experience using digital inventory systems or experience in a logistics, warehouse, or health environment.
Your work ensures our teams can deliver safe, high‑quality care—an impact that truly embodies the values of Darling Downs Health. Why Join Darling Downs Health?
