What your day could look like

As a Nurse Unit Manager, you'll play a vital role in strengthening care delivery for the Goondiwindi community. From leading your team with clarity and confidence to ensuring safe, high‑quality practice, you'll help create an environment where patients receive exceptional care and staff feel supported to grow.

  • Leading clinical and operational priorities to deliver safe, person‑centred care with measurable outcomes.

  • Driving quality, safety and improvement initiatives that uplift care standards across the service.
  • Using evidence, insight and collaboration to guide decision-making and support innovation.

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience.
  • Strong leadership capability, including people management and team development.
  • Confidence using clinical and operational systems to support informed decision‑making.
  • Experience contributing to quality, safety and service improvement initiatives.

You'll stand out if you bring experience in rural health settings and/or postgraduate studies in nursing, management or health leadership.
