What your day could look like
As a Physiotherapist, you'll play a meaningful role in improving mobility, independence and recovery for patients. From delivering hands‑on clinical care to working alongside a multidisciplinary team, your work will contribute to better health outcomes for individuals and the wider community.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Providing safe, evidence‑informed physiotherapy care that supports recovery, function and independence
- Working closely with colleagues across disciplines to deliver coordinated, person‑centred care
- Managing your caseload with confidence while responding to changing clinical priorities
- Contributing ideas and improvements that strengthen services, learning and patient outcomes
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who brings both clinical skill and genuine care to your work. You value compassion as much as capability, act with integrity, and treat every person with dignity. You're comfortable growing your independence while knowing when to seek support, and you take pride in helping people move, recover and live better. You're not just here to deliver treatment — you're here to make a difference in a regional community that values your contribution.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Registration as a Physiotherapist in Australia, with a recognised tertiary qualification
- Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to deliver safe, contemporary care
- A collaborative mindset and clear communication skills
- Flexibility, resilience and a willingness to learn in a varied clinical environment
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in regional or hospital settings and/or a strong interest in clinical education, service improvement or research.
Most importantly, you'll bring the values we live by at Darling Downs Health — Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage — and use them to shape care that truly matters.
In this role, your impact is simple and powerful: helping people move forward with confidence and care.
