What your day could look like
As a Physiotherapist, you'll play a vital role in helping patients move forward with confidence after hospital care. From personalised rehabilitation to collaborative planning with community services, your work directly supports safer transitions, improved mobility and better quality of life across the region.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Delivering tailored, evidence‑based physiotherapy that supports independence and recovery in community settings
- Partnering with multidisciplinary colleagues, patients and families to achieve seamless, person‑centred care
- Managing your caseload with growing autonomy while drawing on supervision and peer support when needed
- Contributing ideas that strengthen service quality, learning and innovation within the team
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who brings both professionalism and compassion to your work. You think holistically, communicate with respect, and understand that recovery is about people, not just treatment plans. You'll take pride in helping individuals regain confidence, maintain dignity and stay connected to what matters most in their lives. This is a role where integrity, courage and genuine care shine through every interaction.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian regulatory authority
- Sound clinical skills with a commitment to evidence‑based practice
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- A current C class driver's licence and willingness to travel
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in community, rehabilitation or aged‑care settings, and/or experience supporting students or contributing to service improvement.
Most importantly, you're passionate about making a real difference for people and communities, and ready to embrace the opportunities of regional healthcare.
This role delivers recovery with compassion, dignity and purpose—living the values of Darling Downs Health every day.
