About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Advanced level of clinical knowledge, expertise and skills in complex contemporary clinical practice, and evidence-based mental health service provision.
- Ability to provide high level advice on clinical and operational matters to management (which as a member of the senior leadership team within the Division of Mental Health, will be required).
- Work collaboratively within a complex stakeholder and systemic framework with internal Queensland Health Services, and external government, non-government, and private health sector service providers to achieve the best outcomes for consumers.
- Ability to provide operational leadership, strategic direction, and management to a multidisciplinary community mental health team whilst ensuring adherence to clinical service standards and the achievement of quality and service delivery objectives.
- Ability to provide leadership in quality improvement, service evaluation and research initiatives on a local and State-wide basis.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
