What your day could look like
As an Occupational Therapist – Extended Service, you'll play an important role in supporting patients and clinical teams to achieve safe, timely outcomes across the hospital. From improving patient flow to collaborating across disciplines, your work will directly support better care experiences for our community.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Supporting patients to regain function and independence through high‑quality, person‑centred therapy
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to enable safe discharges and smooth transitions of care
- Using your clinical judgement to prioritise needs, manage workload and respond to changing demands
- Contributing ideas and improvements that strengthen services, quality, and patient outcomes

- Registration as an Occupational Therapist with the relevant national authority
- Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Confidence managing workload independently and making sound decisions

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in acute or regional settings and/or a passion for service improvement and clinical education.
