What your day could look like
As a Clinical Nurse – Community Health, you'll play a vital role in supporting healthier lives across the Kingaroy community. From building trusted relationships with clients and families to leading safe, evidence-based care in diverse settings, your work will directly shape positive health outcomes and strengthen community wellbeing. You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary colleagues and contribute to a service that values innovation, compassion and local connection.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Delivering advanced community-based nursing care that empowers people to manage their health and live well
- Partnering with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic, person-centred care
- Using clinical leadership and critical thinking to guide safe decisions and improve care quality
- Supporting service improvement through mentoring, collaboration and continuous learning

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with authority to practise in Australia
- Advanced community or generalist nursing experience with strong assessment and care planning skills
- Confidence working autonomously while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
- A values-driven approach aligned to compassion, dignity, integrity, innovation and courage
You'll stand out if you have experience in rural or community settings and/or postgraduate or extended practice qualifications.
