The purpose of the role is to provide leadership to strengthen governance frameworks and staff capability building to strengthen therapeutic knowledge and practice skills.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

• Advanced level of knowledge and skills in contemporary Social Work practice, with a focus on assessing complex psychosocial needs of patients and families and applying independent professional judgement to a complex caseload.
• Lead Social Work clinicians to deliver evidence based therapeutic services and continuous quality improvement to enhance service outcomes with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Advanced level of knowledge of relevant legislation to inform professional Social Work practice, provide high level advice and to deliver education on the same to other senior staff, including senior management.
• Specialised knowledge and clinical advice to deliver tailored information and clinical care to meet individual needs and circumstances including cultural circumstances.
• Ability to effectively prioritise and manage own time to meet and provide clinical advice to senior staff and other stakeholders.
• Effective communication and service engagement skills to develop sustainable partnerships in service development and professional development of self and others in a dynamic environment.
• Clinical supervision and quality support for social workers and students, including education and research.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
