What your day could look like
As Director of Nursing/Facility Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting patients, families and staff across a rural multipurpose health service. From setting clinical direction to guiding teams through change, your leadership will help ensure care is safe, compassionate and responsive to community needs.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading clinical and operational outcomes that strengthen safety, quality and patient experience
- Supporting and empowering multidisciplinary teams through clear leadership and sound decision‑making
- Partnering with local stakeholders to align services with community needs and future demand
- Driving continuous improvement, innovation and sustainable services across the facility

You're a values‑led leader who combines strong clinical judgement with genuine care for people and communities. You lead with integrity, bring others with you through change, and take pride in building services that patients and teams trust. You're motivated by making a real difference in rural health and confident guiding teams toward better outcomes.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse, with contemporary clinical credibility
- Proven leadership experience managing teams, resources and service delivery
- Strong understanding of safety, quality and governance in health or aged care settings
- A collaborative, calm approach with the courage to make decisions when it matters
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have leadership experience in rural or regional settings and/or postgraduate study in nursing, health management or a related field.
Above all, you'll bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage to everything you do—leaving a positive legacy for patients, teams and the community.
