What your day could look like
As the Assistant Director Psychology, you'll play a key role in strengthening clinical services and supporting better outcomes for patients across the region. From delivering expert care to guiding service development, you'll influence how psychology services evolve while supporting a skilled and connected workforce.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Delivering advanced psychological care for patients with complex needs, improving wellbeing and recovery outcomes
- Partnering with clinicians and leaders to guide service planning, clinical standards and continuous improvement
- Leading supervision, coaching and development for psychologists, building capability across the service
- Driving innovation and quality initiatives that enhance care delivery and strengthen service performance

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA and an approved supervisor status
- Strong experience delivering evidence-based care for complex presentations
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and support clinicians in a healthcare setting
- Advanced communication skills, with confidence influencing clinical and service decisions
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in service development or quality improvement initiatives and/or additional training in supervision or advanced clinical practice.
