What your day could look like

As a Dental Technician - Senior, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality dental prosthetics and technical solutions that directly support patient care across the service. From solving complex technical challenges to guiding team workflows, you'll contribute to outcomes that improve both patient experience and clinical efficiency.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Delivering advanced dental laboratory work with precision and consistency, ensuring high-quality outcomes for patient care
  • Solving complex technical issues independently while advising clinicians and colleagues on best practice approaches
  • Supporting and mentoring team members, helping build capability and a strong, collaborative lab environment
  • Driving workflow efficiency by prioritising tasks and contributing to service improvements that enhance delivery

Let's talk about you!

You're a skilled and self-motivated dental technician who takes pride in producing high-quality work and solving complex challenges. You bring a calm, capable approach to your day and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. Whether you're refining processes, supporting colleagues, or contributing to patient outcomes behind the scenes, you know your work has real impact. You're not just here to do the job—you're here to make things better for your team, clinicians, and community.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Recognised qualification as a Dental Technician in Australia
  • Proven ability to deliver a wide range of dental laboratory services with autonomy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workflows
  • A collaborative mindset with experience supporting or mentoring others

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience working in busy or regional dental services and/or a passion for continuous improvement in technical practices.

Above all, you'll bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage into your work—helping deliver care that makes a real difference.
