What your day could look like
As a Social Worker Advanced, you'll play a critical role in strengthening mental health recovery outcomes across the community. From delivering expert clinical care to guiding service improvements, you'll work closely with teams and stakeholders to support meaningful change for consumers and their families.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Delivering advanced clinical social work support that improves recovery pathways for people living with complex mental health needs
- Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team, building capability and supporting high-quality care delivery
- Driving service improvements and programs that enhance access, inclusion, and outcomes across diverse communities
- Building strong partnerships with consumers, carers, and service providers to ensure coordinated and effective care

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Extensive experience in mental health social work, managing complex cases
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to lead change, drive improvement, and support team development
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience working across diverse or multicultural settings and/or additional training in mental health or leadership.
Most importantly, you'll be passionate about improving mental health outcomes and committed to building stronger, more connected communities through your work.
