As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you'll play a key role in strengthening aged care services and improving the wellbeing of residents. From guiding clinical best practice to supporting teams through change, you'll help create a safe, high-quality environment where people feel valued and cared for.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Leading clinical care planning and decision-making to deliver safer, better outcomes
  • Coaching and supporting nurses and care staff to build capability and confidence
  • Driving quality improvement initiatives that strengthen safety, compliance and care standards
  • Partnering with multidisciplinary teams to enhance resident wellbeing and service delivery

Let's talk about you!

You're an experienced nurse who leads with compassion and confidence. You bring clarity in complex situations, support others to grow, and take pride in delivering care that respects dignity and individuality. You're motivated by making a genuine difference—improving systems, strengthening teams, and enhancing the lives of those in aged care. With integrity and courage, you help shape a culture that values learning, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant practising certification
  • Strong clinical experience in aged care with confident decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and influence multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of care standards, funding models, and clinical governance practices

You'll stand out if you have postgraduate qualifications in nursing, leadership or health management and/or experience leading improvements in residential or regional aged care settings.

Most importantly, you'll be driven to deliver meaningful care, support your team, and contribute to a service grounded in compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—creating better outcomes every day.
