What your day could look like
As a Clinical Nurse in Intensive Care, you'll play a vital role in delivering expert, patient-centred care while guiding and supporting your team through complex clinical situations. From leading critical decision-making to shaping safer systems of care, your work will directly improve outcomes for patients, families, and the wider community.

- Coordinating and delivering advanced, evidence-based care for patients with complex needs
- Leading and supporting multidisciplinary teamwork to ensure safe, effective outcomes
- Driving quality improvement initiatives that strengthen care standards and clinical safety
- Mentoring and guiding nurses to build capability, confidence, and a positive team culture

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience in critical care
- Advanced clinical assessment, decision-making, and care coordination skills
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support teams in dynamic environments
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate qualifications in critical care and/or experience leading quality or service improvement initiatives.
