What your day could look like

As a Project Support Officer, you'll play an important role in helping project teams deliver initiatives that strengthen health services and support better outcomes for communities across the region. From coordinating information and keeping priorities on track to enabling effective communication across stakeholders, you'll be part of a collaborative team working toward meaningful and lasting impact.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Supporting the successful delivery of projects through effective coordination, planning and organisation.
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to keep information flowing and priorities aligned.
  • Creating clear, accurate documentation and reporting that supports informed decision-making.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency and contribute to positive project outcomes.

Let's talk about you!

You're someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and helping teams achieve their goals. You combine compassion, integrity and courage with a practical, solutions-focused mindset, and you know how to balance multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. You take pride in being the person others can rely on to keep work progressing, communication clear and outcomes on track. More than supporting projects, you'll help create positive change that benefits colleagues, patients and communities.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Experience providing project, administrative or coordination support in a busy environment.
  • Strong skills across Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven ability to organise work, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience supporting large-scale programs, infrastructure, digital or service improvement projects and/or experience working in a complex or multidisciplinary environment.

Above all, you'll bring the values we live by at Darling Downs Health—Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage.
