What your day could look like
As a Clinical Nurse, you'll help create safe, compassionate and high-quality care experiences for residents while supporting a collaborative healthcare team. From coordinating complex care needs to guiding colleagues and driving continuous improvement, you'll play an important role in achieving positive outcomes for residents, families and the service.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading and coordinating clinical care that supports residents' health, wellbeing and quality of life.
- Providing guidance, coaching and clinical leadership that helps build a confident and capable nursing team.
- Driving quality and safety initiatives that strengthen care standards and improve resident outcomes.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver responsive, person-centred care and support positive change.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the appropriate professional authority.
- Strong clinical assessment, care planning and care coordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and support multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of quality, safety and risk management principles within healthcare environments.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have a postgraduate qualification relevant to clinical practice and/or experience in rural, aged care or residential healthcare settings.
