What your day could look like

As a Registered Nurse - Perioperative, you'll be part of a team that helps people through some of their most important healthcare experiences. You'll combine expert clinical care with compassion and teamwork, supporting patients before, during and after surgery while contributing to a culture where safety, respect and excellence thrive.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Delivering high-quality perioperative care that improves patient experiences and outcomes.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to provide safe, seamless and person-centred care.
  • Sharing your knowledge, supporting colleagues and helping create a positive team environment.
  • Contributing to quality improvement and best-practice initiatives that strengthen care delivery.

Let's talk about you!

You're more than a skilled clinician. You're someone who values connection, thrives in a team environment and takes pride in making a difference when it matters most. You bring compassion to patient care, integrity to your decision-making and courage to step up when challenges arise. Whether you're supporting a patient through surgery, mentoring a colleague or embracing a new learning opportunity, you're driven by the chance to create positive outcomes and contribute to a community that genuinely appreciates what you do.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Recent perioperative nursing experience and well-developed clinical judgement.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to professional growth, quality care and continuous improvement.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate study in a relevant specialty area and/or experience supporting education, mentoring or team leadership.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is passionate about perioperative nursing, committed to exceptional patient care and excited by the opportunity to build a rewarding career and lifestyle in a supportive regional community.

In this role, you'll help deliver outstanding care while embodying the values of compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage.
