Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Providing holistic social work support that helps people navigate challenges and achieve meaningful recovery goals.
  • Partnering with consumers, carers and healthcare professionals to strengthen care planning and service coordination.
  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes.
  • Sharing knowledge and supporting students and colleagues to foster a culture of learning and excellence.

Let's talk about you!

You're someone who combines professional expertise with genuine compassion. You build trust quickly, communicate with confidence, and work collaboratively to support people through complex situations. You take pride in helping individuals regain stability, strengthen connections and work towards recovery. Guided by integrity, dignity, innovation and courage, you're committed to making a lasting difference through person-centred care.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Qualification in Social Work and eligibility for, or membership with, the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Experience applying contemporary social work practice in a healthcare or mental health setting.
  • Strong communication, advocacy and relationship-building skills within multidisciplinary environments.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while contributing to service and quality improvement initiatives.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in mental health services and/or eligibility to use the AASW Accredited Social Worker credential.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is passionate about recovery-focused care, committed to positive community impact, and ready to grow their career while living the values of Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage.
