The role of the Senior Transition Officer is to coordinate and deliver the Transition to Success (T2S) program for a local area and supervise its development, implementation, and ongoing delivery and improvement. While the focus of the role is largely operational, the role will provide valuable feedback to contribute to the strategic success of the program State-wide.
The T2S program is an intensive therapeutic program which supports young people subject to Youth Justice orders or those identified at significant risk of entering the justice system. The intent is that young people will develop positive behaviours via vocational training and therapeutic intervention to support behavioural and emotional regulation and improved social skills.
