We are looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, hands-on person to join our Visitor Management Team. This Senior Ranger position will assist with identifying, planning and implementing visitor management strategy and projects across SEQ Region, as prioritised by the team leader. This position is for you if:
• You have experience and are keenly interested in recreation management in the natural environment of the densely populated South East Queensland.
• You can ‘get in the headspace’ of recreational users, from rock climbers to mountain bike riders to bush walkers to bird watchers, to assist us in better management of recreation and improving experiences of our visitors.
• You would like the chance to work in a stunning and inspiring environment while actively participating in efforts to safeguard the beauty and heritage of this unique region.

The Sandstone area contains approximately 750,000 hectares of parks and forests in the sandstone country of central/ southern Queensland, including Carnarvon National Park, recognised as one of Queensland’s top 10 national parks.
