The Reportable Conduct Scheme Unit (RCS Unit) manages the department’s Reportable Conduct Scheme which has been implemented in accordance with the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024.
In managing the Reportable Conduct Scheme, the RCS Unit is responsible for identifying, reporting and responding to allegations or convictions of reportable conduct involving departmental workers and volunteers committed against young people involved in the youth justice system.

The Senior Assessment Advisor is responsible for conducting high level assessments and preliminary enquiries into allegations of reportable conduct involving department workers and volunteers, under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024.

The role of the Caseworker (Domestic and Family Violence) is to support and case manage young people subject to a youth justice intervention who are affected by domestic and family violence as a victim, perpetrator or exposure in any way. The Caseworker will work collaboratively as part of the High-Risk Team comprising of government and non-government partners, and coordinate service delivery between the High-Risk Team and Youth Justice Service Centres to ensure required actions and referrals are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner.
This role will also help establish the Domestic and Family Violence integrated response and High-Risk Team for Youth Justice Service Centres in the Brisbane and Moreton Bay Region, therefore will help develop processes and tools as well as engagement, information-sharing and reporting protocols between stakeholders.
