Marine Fleet Services provides strategic support to the Queensland Water Police, Marine Rescue Queensland (MRQ) and the State Emergency Services (SES) for their waterborne fleet capabilities. Responsible for the oversight of a fleet of over 400 vessels from dinghies to offshore capable, our team is dedicated to ensuring support is provided in their operation for training, normal operating and emergency event occurrences. With a primary focus being the through life management of marine assets, the team considers requirements including purchasing, disposal, compliance, safety and asset condition considerations for the three operating entities. This role works with the Manager, Contracts and Procurement (Marine Fleet) in the facilitation and management of procurement for the marine fleet operations and to contribute to the ongoing management of the rolling 10-year marine fleet plan.
