    As the Ranger in charge of the Gold Coast Hinterland - Springbrook unit, you will be required to provide a high level of support to a team of Rangers in the protection of Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service & Partnerships estate. This role’s focus area is Springbrook National Park which covers 6,558ha in four main sections—Springbrook plateau and Natural Bridge in the south west, which are part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. The World Heritage Area includes the most extensive areas of subtropical rainforest in the world, most of the world's warm temperate rainforest and nearly all of the Antarctic beech Nothofagus moorei cool temperate rainforest. The other two sections are Austinville to the east and Numinbah to the west, which consist predominantly of sclerophyll forest and makes up a key component of the park’s fire program.
