You will lead a team responsible for transitioning all new and existing holders of environmental authorities to hold Progressive Rehabilitation and Closure Plan’s (PRCP). The PRCPs will describe the rehabilitation that will be undertaken progressively throughout the mine’s life. Your advanced understanding of environmental risks associated with high-risk mining activities and application of rehabilitation methodologies will be applied to provide strategic oversight, accountability and legislative decision-making.

The position plays a role in analysing and presenting waste levy financial data that contributes to knowledge sharing, policies and reforms in recycling and waste management. It will also be a contributor to key projects to improve existing waste collection systems and processes for waste data and information collection, analysis and presentation during a time of significant change.
